Hired as a dock worker, billing clerk and customer service rep in 1982, by Southwest Motor Freight in Chattanooga TN, Nathan gained valued experience in the moving of LTL freight, quickly advance to dock Foreman, Accounts receivable, and then to Sales Manager in January of 1886.  In January of 1987, he joined Reeves Transportation Company in Calhoun GA as regional Sales Director for the Southeast, Southwest and West Coast area, having responsibility for sales in a 17 terminal territory where he supervised sales reps and called on customers all across the territory.  In October of 1991, he joined North Ga Shippers Association (later re-entitled Rosedale Transport) where he advanced to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, responsible for Sales, marketing , Customer service, and OS&D.  In the summer of 1997, he became Executive Vice President of the company, and later became President and COO of the US operations of Rosedale Transport.  In November of 2003, just days before his 40^th birthday, he opened MaDex Associates, Inc. in Trenton GA, focusing on work with asset based trucking companies, and servicing customers he had developed over the years!  It started at the Kitchen Table, with a desktop, a fax machine, and a telephone.

Later in 2009 , the 3PL known as River Run Logistics, Inc was started, and then in 2017, the asset based trucking company of the same name came into being.

Nathan’s experience is primarily in the area of moving LTL Flooring from the North Ga Carpet Industry, and later in the Truckload Segment of the industry.  His now 40 years in trucking leadership, sales, and operations makes his one of the most experienced professionals in the industry!   He has a reputation for “knowing everybody!”, and believes the old adage that “people still do business with People”, and that the customer always comes first!
